British Saladin Armored Car 1/100
British Saladin armored car with L5A1 76mm low pressure gun and two M1919A4 Browning machine guns. Adopted by the British Army in 1958 as a replacement for the AEC series of heavy armored cars. Saw extensive British service until replace by FV101 Scorpion as well as considerable exports to British allies, including many Commonwealth nations. 100 FV601Ds were exported to West Germany for use by the Bundesgrenzschutz border guards. These vehicles removed the coaxial machine gun and replaced the pintle mounted M1919A4 with an MG3, as well as having a different set of lights and smoke grenade dischargers.
Each model ships with 2 pintle mounted machine guns.
