Soviet IT-1 Dragon Missile Tank 1/100

$7.00

Soviet IT-1 missile tank with 3M7 Drakon radio controlled anti-tank missiles. Derived from the T-62 tank, the IT-1 had a mixed record in it's brief service from 1968 through the early 70s. Technically impressive, with SACLOS guidance, true shoot on the move capability, a range of 3500 meters and a heavily armored platform it had several serious flaws. With only 15 missiles carried, endurance was poor. The night vision system could only see 900 meters, reducing effective range. This meshed poorly with the 300 meter minimum range, caused by capture range. With more than 500kg of guidance system using vacuum tubes, maintenance was difficult and waste heat was excessive. About 220 were produced.

3d SLA printed from grey resin under license from V. Mifsud's design in 15mm scale for your favorite WW III wargames. This miniature will ship washed and cured but will require some cleanup to remove printing artifacts like supports. All miniatures are printed on order and shipped as quickly as possible, so the 5 business day handling is a guideline. Please contact me for timing. Need to build an army for the new book?
